Travelling on the ligne du Bourbonnais and the ligne des Cévennes
This journey to France in Europe by Rail starts at London’s St Pancras station, as inspiring a space as any cathedral. From London, it's a fast run to Paris on Eurostar. We continue south from the French capital on a route which takes us almost to the shores of the Mediterranean. For lovers of rural landscapes, that journey from Paris to southern France is much superior to the more usual route along high-speed lines.
